ABOUT THE ROLE: Seeking a happy go lucky cleaner/laundry attendant to join our small and friendly team at Mercy Place Rosebud. We are a 30 bed, Aged Care Facility located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula -5 minute drive from the Peninsula Link. If you are a reliable and caring individual who is a great communicator and team player looking to make a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable members of the community, this may be the job for you.
Summary of the role:
1. Full time/casual/part time position/s available
2. Located in Rosebud
3. Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (vaccuuming, dusting, mopping, etc)
4. Responsible for the delivery of customer focused and effecient cleaning services
5. We require a hard working, flexible cleaner with an eye for detail
6. You will draw upon your experience as a cleaner/laundry attendant and utilise industry knowledge to foster a resident centred environment that ensures all services provided to residents, family and friends supports our model of care.
ABOUT YOU:
7. Previous experience working as a cleaner/laundry attendant desired but not essential
8. Ability to work in a busy environemnt
9. Ability to work as part of a team
10. Knowledge of general infection control procedures
11. Willing to grown and learn
12. Demonstrate and uphlod the Mercy Place Model of Care by providing care based on the individual beliefs, needs and wishes of each resident
13. Experience working within Aged Care desirable not essential.
