Ecommerce Growth Manager

Altair Recruitment is excited to partner with a design-led Australian lifestyle brand. With all design, distribution, and operations led from a Melbourne head office, the business is now scaling its digital footprint. Building on a strong D2C foundation on Shopify, the focus is on digital expansion. We are looking for a commercially minded Ecommerce Growth Manager to own strategy and execution and lead the next stage of growth.
In this role, you'll take full ownership of D2C performance and marketplace operations, from shaping the growth roadmap to optimising channels, integrations, loyalty programs, and reporting. You'll collaborate closely with an established team, building on solid foundations to drive innovation, scalability, and long-term commercial impact.
What you will be doing:
* Lead the strategy and collaborate on the execution of D2C and B2B sales growth via Shopify, SEO, UX, loyalty, and conversion optimisation
* Own marketplace performance - identifying new channel opportunities, optimising listings, and managing integrations
* Develop and implement data-led growth initiatives based on customer insights and market trends
* Identify and test new technologies, automation tools, and marketplace integrations to drive efficiency
* Collaborate in the commercial management of the Zoho inventory system
* Drive Klavio campaigns via analysis and segmentation
* Collaborate in the development of a Loyalty, Reviews and UGC programme
* Optimise paid media performance across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Snap Chat, Google Ads & Google Shopping, combining agency partnerships with internal management
* Monitor KPIs, prepare strategic performance reports, and present actionable recommendations
* Stay ahead of ecommerce trends and identify new growth opportunities
What we're looking for
* At least 5+ years of experience in ecommerce and digital retail
* Demonstrated success in scaling a brand, with ownership of ecommerce strategy and execution
* Experience managing marketplaces and understanding their commercial levers
* Experienced in managing medium to large media budgets
* Strong Shopify expertise: including optimisations, integrations, SEO, and Google Shopping
* Innovative and wholistic thinker who utilises ecommerce and digital retail trends for commercial growth
* Passion for AB testing with a successful record
* Strong reporting and analytical skills – you know how to back your ideas with data to drive growth. You're competent with analytics tools like GA4 and Hotjar
* Strong understanding of CRM, loyalty strategies and Klaviyo
* Ability to take a big-picture commercial view while rolling up your sleeves to execute
* Experience with and passion for leveraging AI tools to automate and improve processes

* Hands-on experience setting up and managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns
* Background in fashion, gifting, lifestyle, or baby/children's product categories
