**Job Summary**

As a Financial Reporting Consultant, you will support the Australian Financial Reporting team and be responsible for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and tax reporting to a diverse range of investment manager and superannuation fund clients.

You will establish a level of client knowledge to ensure all requirements are met and allow the team to build the relationship further.

**Responsibilities**

* Provide high-level client service as the first point of contact in relation to all accounting and tax queries for an allocation of clients.
* Review financial statements and templates.
* Proactively seek to identify and improve current core processes and procedures, ensuring they are updated with changes in regulations and industry trends.
* Deliver training and coaching to junior members of the team.
* Work closely with other teams to achieve client reporting objectives – Unit Pricing, Business Process Analysts, Client Services, Operations, and Technology.

**Requirements**

* Experience working within a Custodian, Superannuation fund, or Investment Manager accounting/tax team.
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency in utilizing financial statements and tax reporting system tools.
* Accounting/Commerce/Finance degree qualified ideally with a CA or CPA.
* Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role.
* Client service and relationship management.
