ABOUT THE ROLE As a Civil Engineer, undertakes investigations, analysis and design of civil infrastructure and land development projects in accordance with the direction of the Project Manager, project brief and fee structure. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow while assisting in the analysis, drafting, and documentation processes, helping to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards. Key responsibilities · Project Management: Track and monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and delivery timelines, and regularly report progress and cost-to-date to the Project Manager. · Support the Project Manager in identifying risks, preparing mitigation strategies, and maintaining alignment with scope and budget. · Design Management: Undertake detailed design work across civil infrastructure disciplines (e.g., roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities) appropriate to your level of expertise. · Plan and sequence design deliverables, ensuring design packaging supports efficient workflow and coordination across engineering disciplines. · Oversee design verification and checking processes, ensuring compliance with Indesco’s quality system and relevant Australian Standards or local authority requirements. · Oversee the preparation of specifications, bills of quantities, pre-tender estimates and contract documents. · Technical Capability: Proficient in the use of 12d Model for geometric road design, earthworks modelling, and surface generation. · Undertake and review drainage design and stormwater modelling using tools such as 12d Drainage, DRAINS, or MUSIC, ensuring compliance with local council and water authority requirements. · Team Membership: Support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the Civil Engineering team.
