Your key responsibilities
- Maintain filing, records bring-up and retrieval systems. Assist legal professionals with billing, invoicing and time recording using Elite. Complex formatting of documents in Word and Excel. Prepare briefs and documents and attend to routine correspondence. Monitor and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Diary management (appointments, etc.) organise meetings, conferences etc prepare and distribute agendas etc. Archiving files. Travel and accommodation coordination. Utilise effective communication skills and problem solving skills to communicate and address any problems that may arise to resolve issues. Support the Executive Legal Secretary to identify opportunities to adapt and change work processes and assist with the development of guidelines or effective methods to achieve consistently high secretarial and administrative standards within the team. Consultation and liaison with internal and external clients and other stakeholders on various matters including confidential and sensitive issues. Model client service standards and Crown Law's values. Undertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational area and Crown Law. Work collaboratively with Practice Management Branch personnel regarding team and whole of practice issues.
