The Opportunity
We are looking for a Parts Interpreter for our Hobart Branch.
To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter with a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for the rural lifestyle, and demonstrate the following attributes:
* Providing sales and service of parts to customers
* Ordering stock
* Receiving stock
* Picking and packing freight
* Assisting workshop staff with parts purchase for machinery
* Maintaining stock levels in the showroom
* Stocktaking, inventory, and warehouse maintenance
* Updating the system accurately and promptly
* Assisting customers with sales queries
* Making sales to lifestyle customers
* Passing on sales leads to the appropriate Sales Representative
* Performing other duties as required by management
Person Specification
As a successful Parts Interpreter, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to analyze data and think clearly
* Problem-solving skills
* Effective workload management skills to achieve outcomes
* Mechanical aptitude and experience
* Time management and prioritization skills
* Computer software proficiency
* Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and limited supervision
* A team-oriented approach with initiative, commitment, and a positive attitude
* Adaptability to changing work environments
* Valid driver’s license
* Forklift license preferred but not essential
