Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and results-driven Dealer Finance
Commercial Manager to join our team, in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with automotive and related industry
dealerships, promoting our financial products and services, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires an understanding of the dealer finance market and the ability to
deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation & Conversion: Actively generate leads, prospect new business,
and convert commercial opportunities into revenue generating business.
• Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with
dealerships in a variety of industries, across your assigned territory to increase
finance uptake and ensure satisfaction.
• Finance Solutions: Work closely with the dealership finance and insurance
teams to explain various finance options and provide finance products to meet
client needs.
• Client Support: Guide both dealerships and clients through the finance
application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from start to
finish.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest finance products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements to offer the best solutions to both dealerships
and clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth processing
of finance applications and timely delivery of services.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of dealer and client
interactions in the CRM system and finance applications. Provide regular reports
to management on progress, performance, and opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure all finance activities comply with Australian financial
regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. (preferred, not a
requirement)
Key Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development and/or
client relationship management preferably within the automotive or related
dealer finance industry.
• Strong Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of dealer finance products,
or a related field is highly desirable. However, we also welcome candidates with
a strong commercial background involving high volume of transactions.
• Relationship Building: Proven track record of establishing and nurturing long-
term relationships.
• Results Driven: Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial targets and
driving business growth and change.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation,
and interpersonal skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-
paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other business
development tools (e.g., Salesforce/Hubspot (preferred)), Microsoft Office Suite,
and financial modelling tools.
