About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to provide a high quality clinical service to clients/patients/consumers and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. You will work with a team of physiotherapists and administration staff as a senior physiotherapist in surgical, orthopaedic and outpatient physiotherapy, providing clinical service and advice to colleagues in a team of ***** staff members.
Key clinical settings include surgical ward, fracture clinic and outpatient (including hand therapy). You will receive supervision from colleagues and your direct line manager, attend in-services, and be encouraged to undertake appropriate courses to develop skills that improve patient care.
About You
The position requires a self-motivated, autonomous, compassionate, enthusiastic individual with good time-management skills. Ideal candidates possess skills, knowledge, experience and additional training in surgical, orthopaedic and outpatient areas, including advanced casting skills and manufacturing thermoplastic splints.
Requirements
Must hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum of 3 years full-time clinical experience.

Additional Information
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part-time and temporary full or part-time vacancies.
To be eligible for permanent employment you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified.

Demonstrated advanced practice skills in complex casting and manufacturing of thermoplastic splinting.
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and advanced practice skills in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy and the frail aged patient.
Demonstrated experience in providing clinical leadership, consultation, supervision and education for staff and/or students.
Demonstrated ability to meet the supervision needs of students and/or less experienced staff, including developing and leading team skills-building activities.
