Reporting to the Governance & Assurance Delivery Manager this role provides an assurance and validation service to ensure RAC Insurance complies with regulatory requirements, policies, standards and meets business expectations, enhancing our business and evolving our member experience for the better.
What’s the role?
1. Monitor the management of key commercial and materially outsourced contracts to ensure RAC Insurance suppliers comply with agreed service level agreements (SLAs), metrics and regulatory requirements e.g. APRA CPS231, CPS234 and CPS230
2. Contribute to the periodic commercial reviews and analysis of in-house and 3rd party material outsourced contracts and SLA’s to identify improvements
3. Conduct risk assessments with key stakeholders on material outsourced contracts and ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks
4. Undertake control assurance testing and ensure issues are raised where a control gap/weakness is identified
5. Co-ordinate and drive timely responses to address audit actions and issues raised
6. Consult with key stakeholders around service related Incidents and identify and work to remediate recurring issues
7. Review Insurance information systems and work practices to ensure alignment with RAC policies and industry standard requirements
8. Identify training needs and ensure compliance is upheld in relation to company and legislative standards
9. Negotiate and establish stakeholder SLA standards with RAC contract specialists between service providers and end users
About you
10. Demonstrated experience in contract management life cycle e.g. facilitation and service agreement, contractual performance assessment and service provision assurance management
11. Risk management and/or controls assurance background desirable
12. An understanding and knowledge of APRA standards (CPS231, CPS234 and CPS230) desirable.
13. Experience managing and negotiating with internal and external service providers
14. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
15. Highly developed communication and collaboration skills
16. IT Governance experience desirable
17. Exposure to meeting regulatory and compliance obligations
18. Insurance or other Financial Services industry experience
19. Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or related discipline
