The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Fixed Operations Manager is responsible for driving productivity, profitability, compliance and customer satisfaction across the dealership's fixed operations. You'll be responsible for:
Service Department (Employing technicians, customer facing service advising, submitting warranty claims, managing parts department)
Workshop Operations (Start up opportunity requiring the position to oversee the workshop fit out and to develop it how you want and have total oversight of how it is run)
Parts Department (Inventory Management, Sales Support)
Used Vehicle Reconditioning & Roadworthy Inspections
Warranty Compliance & Administration

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, lead, coach and develop technicians and frontline staff
Drive workshop efficiency, throughput, and service profitability
Manage used car reconditioning process and RWC compliance end-to-end
Oversee warranty processes, ensuring manufacturer compliance and timely submissions
Control parts inventory and ensure timely supply to workshop and retail
Maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction
Collaborate with sales and GM teams on process improvements and turnaround time
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, manufacturer and workplace safety standards
About You
You're a proven Fixed Operations Manager or senior Aftersales leader with:
Strong experience across service, parts, and workshop management
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Deep knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes and compliance
Experience managing reconditioning for used vehicles and roadworthy licence operations
Commercial acumen and focus on process, profitability, and customer retention
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
Current valid driver's licence (essential)
RWC Certification or understanding of roadworthy licensing (highly desirable)
