As the
Technician – Field Service
will cover the Sunshine Coast region with occasional travel further afield. You will provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu Customer Equipment and through your efforts, contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency for the Komatsu Sunshine Coast Field Service Department.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and being a strong, reliable member of the Komatsu Australia team.
You'll bring a safety-first mindset, a high standard of workmanship, and the confidence to work autonomously or alongside others.
Strong organisation, people skills and clear communication — written and verbal — are essential, along with confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in machine diagnostics and repairs.
* Strong technical understanding of current equipment systems and processes (Komatsu experience highly regarded).
* Demonstrated capability testing, adjusting and monitoring machine systems using relevant technical literature and diagnostic tools.
* Ability to produce clear, accurate technical reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience supporting and coordinating major site-based maintenance projects.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to complete all job and site paperwork accurately and on time.
* Proven ability to work to defined job scopes and critical paths.
Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Current MR licence.
Pay Rates:
Competitive rates plus Field Service and Tool Allowance plus overtime available.
