Attendance Support Officer
About the Role:
This role provides critical support to our learning environment by monitoring student attendance, generating absence reports for senior leaders and liaising with parents/carers to verify student absences.
You will contribute to the effective operations of the school by providing high-level administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Monitoring student programs and providing information to teachers and school leaders where necessary.
* Liaising with Student Support Officers, Heads of Special Education Programs and Guidance Officers to address issues relating to students experiencing problems that prevent their engagement at school.
* Maintaining databases listing students who are independent, residing with carers or experiencing legal orders against their parents/guardians.
* Identifying barriers to students attending school and achieving outcomes by referral to appropriate support services.
