Support Worker – Hospitality Services (School Days and Hours)

We're looking for caring and motivated Support Workers to join our Hospitality Services team at Devonfield.
In this role, you'll work alongside participants in our hospitality and catering programs - supporting them to develop new skills, build confidence, and contribute to meaningful work in our café, kitchen, and food service settings.
This is a school-hours position, perfect for someone looking to make a difference while maintaining work–life balance. This position is 40 weeks per year.
Typical hours: Monday to Friday, within school hours (no evenings, weekends, or public holidays).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on support to participants in hospitality and catering activities.
* Encourage skill development, confidence, and workplace independence.
* Promote safe food handling, cleanliness, and teamwork.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
* Support daily routines in café, catering, and food service operations.
About You
You're someone who brings empathy, patience, and positivity to every interaction. You enjoy working with people and take pride in helping others achieve their goals.
You'll also have:
* Experience or interest in hospitality, kitchen, or food service settings.
* Compassion and respect for people with disability.
* Reliability, initiative, and a friendly team approach.
* Availability during school hours, Monday–Friday.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current driver's licence and Working with Vulnerable People registration.
