We require a
Lead Power Systems Engineer
to join our Perth based Power Systems team and take a leadership role creating and driving design, reports, studies and analysis to our diverse loyal clientele across resources and renewable energy.
Applicants should have strong skills and experience in the following areas:
* Analysis and design of HV power systems including design of powerlines and substations
* Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
* Solid electrical engineering experience that also includes knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls applications
* Experience working on both greenfields and brownfields projects
* Degree level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialize power engineering qualifications well regarded
* An ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team / project delivery scenarios
* The ability to travel with project requirements
Responsibilities
* Undertake power system analysis for clients
* Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries
* Preparation and evaluation of tenders
* Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent (PowerFactory) and ETAP
