We require a Lead
Power Systems Engineer
to join our Perth based Power Systems team and take a leadership role creating and driving design, reports, studies and analysis to our diverse loyal clientele across resources and renewable energy.
Applicants should have strong skills and experience in the following areas:
Analysis and design of HV power systems including design of powerlines and substations
Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
Solid electrical engineering experience that also includes knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls applications
Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield projects
Degree level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialize power engineering qualifications well regarded
An ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team / project delivery scenarios
The ability to travel with project requirements
Responsibilities
Undertake power system analysis for clients
Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries
Preparation and evaluation of tenders
Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent (PowerFactory) and ETAP
