About This Role

At I-MED we believe in working as a team and delivering high quality healthcare, to every patient, every time.

Based in our St Vincent's clinic in Launceston, a LOCUM opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team. You will be rostered Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7am – 6pm, with on call requirement.

This opportunity is running between 1st of September until the 17th of October.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.

Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
* Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
* Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
* Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
* Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
* Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold a VIC radiation license

Compulsory requirements:
* Full AHPRA unrestricted registration
* Correct Radiation Licence
* Working rights for Australia
* Immunisations and COVID vaccinations
