**About the Role**

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our AP team in Brisbane. This role will be responsible for assisting in the effective and efficient operation of the accounts payable function in meeting the needs of the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up new suppliers
- Ensure supplier account information is up to date
- Entering of data into consolidated account excel spreadsheets
- Accounts payable incoming and outgoing mail
- Putting together instruction manuals, policy, and cheat sheets
- Validation of invoices in our scanning system
- Processing of invoices in our AP Automation system
- Monitor supplier accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Maintain and strengthen account relationships with suppliers
- Processing one-off payments directly at bank
- Ensure all items which are more than 60 days over invoice date are cleared the following month
- Continuously improve and develop systems, processes, and procedures
- Assist with auditing requirements and ad hoc requests that fall within the scope of the position, knowledge, and skills base as required

**About You**
- Previous exposure across AP/AR or accounts
- Knowledge of an AP Automation System
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in multi-site and high-volume environment
- Sound understanding of invoicing and accounting concepts and principles
- Proven record in achieving results and prioritising workload
- Highly organised and high attention to detail
- Positive, proactive approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service ethos
- Please note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of working rights. All employees of Ingenia Communities must undergo a National Police Check._
