About the Business
The Finance, Digital and Customer Support Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions, digital, data and technology and screening transformation.
Role Details
The Interpreting and Translating Centre (ITC) is seeking multiple casual Interpreters and Translators in a variety of languages. As an interpreter or translator, you will be enabling the communication between two or more parties speaking Language other than English and the English language. You must be appropriately trained and/or have practical experience as an interpreter or translator and hold NAATI credentials (where available).
The role will include interpreting/Translating assignments, which may include face-to-face, telephone and video appointments. Applicants will be required to complete a National Police Check and a Working with Children Screening Check.

* This is a casual role where working hours will be varied and irregular.
* Some out of hours work may be required.
* It would be desirable to hold a National Accreditation Authority (NAATI) Certification or relevant diploma in Interpreting.
