3‑Month Assignment | Full Time | $45 per hour + Super

Your new company
We are seeking a capable and adaptable Administration Officer to provide temporary support within a Building and Planning team for a 3‑month assignment.This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, based onsite in a council environment. You’ll be joining a fast‑paced team and will play a key role in keeping day‑to‑day administrative operations running smoothly.
Your new role
Working closely with building and planning professionals (in a support capacity), this role will see you:

* Providing high-level administrative support to the Building and Planning team
* Managing correspondence, documentation, and records
* Assisting with applications, permits, and internal systems
* Liaising with internal staff and members of the public
* Using departmental software and systems accurately and efficiently
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Be quick on your feet and able to pick up new systems and processes rapidly.
* Previous experience providing administrative or support services within a building and/or planning environment (not in a planner role) is highly desirable.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
* Be confident working in a busy office setting with competing priorities.
* Have clear communication skills and a professional, customer-centric approach
