Senior Governance Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned governance professional to join our Board, bringing strategic insight and expertise in corporate governance.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Chair and CEO to guide the organization's strategy and performance, contributing to effective governance and oversight.
* Attend Board meetings and committees, providing expert guidance on governance matters
* Represent the organization at regional forums, building strong relationships with stakeholders
* Advocate for sustainable outcomes and community benefits, championing the organization's mission
* Work collaboratively with the Board to drive strategic planning and decision-making
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in Board committees, contributing to committee work and decision-making
* Represent the organization at stakeholder events, fostering partnerships and collaborations
* Develop and implement governance strategies, ensuring effective oversight and risk management
* Collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic planning and execution
Requirements:
* Proven experience in corporate governance, leadership, and risk management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
* Qualifications and/or formal training in corporate governance, desired
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
