Key responsibilities
- Oversee corporate operations including finance, procurement, customer service, ICT, and records
- Support budget development, financial reporting, and long-term financial planning
- Coordinate governance, risk management, audit responses, and compliance
- Lead and mentor a team across corporate and internal service functions
- Foster collaboration across departments and contribute to continuous improvement
- Step into higher duties when required, with support and guidance from senior leadership
What we’re looking for
- Local Government experience, ideally with exposure across multiple corporate functions
- A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, accounting, or a related field (ideally)
- Leadership experience (formal or informal) with the ability to support and motivate others
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a regional setting and committed to community
