Business Development Lead - Electrical and Power Solutions
This key leadership role is focused on driving revenue growth in residential generator and electrical product categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for combining technical expertise with sales enablement to influence outcomes through training, strategy, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth through technical training, upselling, and partnership with sales teams.
* Collaborate with regional leaders and local teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure consistent messaging and execution across all centers.
* Build relationships with product vendors, sales managers, and technicians to leverage technical insights and provide solution-based recommendations tailored to seasonality and market demand.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in the residential electrical or generator industry, with strong technical knowledge of systems, codes, and products.
* A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, with proven experience in training, technical sales, or product management, including multi-site management.
* Generac certification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated success in influencing sales outcomes through training, technical coaching, and consultative selling.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
* An electrical license or certification is highly desirable.
* Experience with Service Titan/CRM systems is an advantage.
