Fire Systems Maintenance Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Fire Systems Maintenance Technician to support our Defence Contract across the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions.
* Maintain, repair, and install mechanical fire protection systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in fire protection systems efficiently.
* Conduct scheduled servicing and performance testing in accordance with Australian Standards (AS1851) to guarantee compliance.
* Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow all safety procedures to minimize risks.
About You:
* Relevant experience in fire system maintenance, servicing, and repairs is essential.
* FPAS accreditation is mandatory for this role.
* Trade qualification in fire protection, electrical, or mechanical fields is desirable but not required.
* Strong knowledge of Australian fire protection standards (AS1670, AS2419, etc.) is necessary.
* A valid NSW Driver's Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction Training) are required.
* Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills with fire safety systems are crucial.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service and safety, are required.
* Australian Citizenship and a current licence or willingness to complete training for confined spaces, working at heights, and EWP are necessary.
