Below are the Key Accountabilities for an AO3 Client Service Officer, Weapons Licensing Group, in the QPS:
• Represent the section while communicating with a broad range of stakeholders, clients, clubs and dealers on issues relating to weapons and licences.
• Data input comprehensive details from new applications, renewals, permits to acquire and other documents.
• Qualify the accuracy and integrity of information entered.
• Analyse, assess and vet applications against legislation, policies and procedures for eligibility utilising QPRIME and other QPS information systems.
• Actively participate in a team environment and support a positive workplace culture.
• Deal with escalated enquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients and determine if further attention is required and/or make referrals to the appropriate areas.
• Operate with a high level of autonomy, providing an effective, efficient and comprehensive client and administrative support service.
• Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies.
• Maintain a sound working knowledge of QPRIME and WLMS.
• Utilise, retrieve and update procedures, databases or information systems to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
