Lismore City Council is seeking six dynamic Executive Leaders to guide newly established directorates and lead multidisciplinary teams delivering sustainable, customer-focused services across our region. These roles report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic outcomes aligned with Council's Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework.

What we trust you to deliver:
* Executive-level leadership experience in your relevant field
* Strong understanding of Local Government legislation
* Proven ability to lead change, manage complex budgets, and build stakeholder relationship
What you will need to be successful:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in an executive or senior management role within local government or the public sector
* Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering strategic outcomes
* Excellent understanding of the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework
* Advanced knowledge of the Local Government Act 1993 and other relevant legislation
* Proven experience in managing diverse functions such as infrastructure, sustainability, planning, customer experience, or flood recovery
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
* Strong people leadership capabilities with a track record of driving performance and positive change
* Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and delivering sustained financial performance
* Advanced written communication skills and proficiency in preparing complex reports and corporate documents
