Based in the Tamworth area.
Role Overview
As a Customer Field Technician located in Tamworth, you will play a vital role working on Customer Service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of nbn products and services. You'll work in multiple environments, predominantly inside the customer's premises.
Responsibilities
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering, and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
* Work hours between 7 am to 7 pm with flexible scheduling based on business needs
Qualifications
We're seeking both experienced candidates and those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.
* Current and clean Driver's License
* Exceptional customer service skills with integrity, honesty, and self‐management
* Strong, personable communication skills (both written and verbal)
