* Salary commensurate with academic level:
o Academic Level A, $83,148 -$112,588 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
o Academic Level B, $118,481 - $140,567 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
* Full-time, ongoing appointment

The Opportunity

The School of Law and Society is seeking a motivated Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Criminology to contribute to the continued growth and success of our Criminology programs.

In this role you will deliver engaging teaching and learning experiences across criminology subjects while supporting positive learning outcomes for students. You will contribute to curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues in teaching and research activities, and develop your academic profile through research and professional engagement. The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's experience, teaching expertise and research track record.

You will

* deliver high-quality teaching across criminology courses using contemporary teaching practices and technologies;
* contribute to curriculum development, assessment and course coordination to support strong student learning outcomes; and
* contribute to research and scholarly activities in criminology, including publications, collaborative projects and engagement with industry or community partners.

About you

You are an enthusiastic and collegial academic who is passionate about criminology education and student success. You bring expertise in criminological theory and practice and enjoy creating engaging learning environments that support diverse student cohorts.

You are developing or building an academic profile through teaching excellence, research contributions and professional engagement. You work effectively with colleagues and external partners and are motivated to contribute to the continued success of criminology education and research at UniSC.

You Will Possess

* completion (Level B) or completion/near completion (Level A) of a doctoral qualification in criminology or a closely related discipline;
* demonstrated teaching capability in higher education and the ability to contribute to engaging and effective learning experiences;
* research experience and evidence of, or potential for, quality refereed publications and collaborative research activity;
* the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, students and relevant professional or community partners; and
* a collegial and proactive approach that contributes to a positive, inclusive and high-performing academic environment.
