Leading Hand Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand to join our workshop team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all service activities in line with our high standards and procedures.
About the Role
* Coordinate and assist supervising workshop staff on repairs of equipment and components in accordance with manufacturers' standards within the laid down time frame.
* Issue appropriate documents and work instructions to workshop technicians and apprentices to ensure there is a complete understanding of work requirements and labour times on each job or task.
* Maximise own and team labour output through job control and communication with workshop staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous leading hand experience, strong communication skills, and a professional approach to their work. They will also have the ability to lead and mentor a team, as well as basic to intermediate computer knowledge and skills.

* Previous leading hand experience
* Strong communication skills and key team player
* Professional self-starter, with attention to detail
* Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and active in promoting its principles
* Ability to lead and mentor a team
