The organisation is known for its high-performance culture, operational excellence and commitment to continuous improvement. The business is entering its next phase of scale, underpinned by a recent SAP S/4 Public Cloud implementation and ongoing value creation initiatives.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller is a critical senior leadership position responsible for strengthening financial discipline, scalability and reporting excellence across the Group.
This role combines technical depth, team leadership and systems ownership in a fast-paced private equity environment. You will lead core financial operations, enhance controls and partner closely with executive stakeholders to support growth, working capital optimisation and acquisition activity.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead month-end close and deliver accurate consolidated reporting
* Produce Board, investor and Risk & Audit Committee packs
* Maintain balance sheet integrity, financial governance and statutory/audit processes
* Lead and develop Corporate Finance and AP teams, driving continuous improvement
* Resolve AP inefficiencies and optimise working capital
* Own SAP S/4 Public Cloud and drive standardisation, automation and data integrity
* Oversee Group cash flow, forecasting, banking and covenant support
* Maintain internal controls, audits, tax compliance and support M&A integration
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a PE-backed or dynamic, high-growth environment
* CA or CPA qualified
* Strong technical accounting and financial control capability
* Hands‐on SAP experience (S/4 preferred), particularly FI/CO and AP
* Demonstrated ability to operate in fast‐paced, change‐heavy environments
* Strong cash flow, working capital and controls mindset
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capability
* Commercially agile with the ability to balance detail and big‐picture thinking
