About Great Energy

Great Energy is a fast-growing and innovative company delivering reliable diesel power solutions to the resources, utilities, commercial, and industrial sectors. We specialise in diesel generator sales, servicing, maintenance, and full generator lifecycle support across Queensland and beyond.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to expand our generator sales and service footprint.

About the Role

This is a hands-on growth role focused on building Great Energy's presence across generator sales, servicing, and maintenance contracts.

You will work closely with our Maintenance and Management Teams to identify opportunities, convert leads, and strengthen long-term customer partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

* Securing new generator sales opportunities
* Generating and qualifying new sales leads
* Expanding generator servicing and maintenance contracts
* Identifying upgrade, replacement, and lifecycle opportunities
* Managing and strengthening existing customer relationships
* Conducting site visits and client meetings
* Preparing proposals, tenders, and service agreements
* Supporting strategic growth initiatives
* Maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline reporting

This role suits someone who understands diesel generators, industrial services, or technical equipment sales and enjoys both hunting new business and managing existing accounts.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

* Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or account management
* Strong ability to secure new customers and close deals
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-driven and results-focused mindset
* Current driver's licence

Highly Desirable:

* Experience in diesel generators, power generation, or industrial equipment
* Knowledge of generator servicing and maintenance contracts
* Exposure to resources, utilities, construction, or infrastructure sectors
* CRM and pipeline management experience
