Role Details
Gold Fields – St Ives is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Supervisor to join their Surface Mining Maintenance Team.
Reporting to the Coordinator: Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for scheduling and following up on work orders and priority unplanned jobs. This role provides crew leadership, ensuring quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) while working within cost and equipment availability targets for surface mining equipment.
This role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off, alternating 7 nights on, 7 days off roster pattern. It is open to residential candidates based in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie, as well as FIFO from Perth.

About The Role
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the Surface Mobile Maintenance team efficiently, ensuring performance targets are met.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure safety and production standards are maintained.
* Assist with developing and implementing new maintenance procedures and technologies.
* Maintain good relationships with external service providers to ensure availability of critical parts and equipment.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports using the Performance Management System.
* Utilize reports from SAP or similar systems to monitor reliability, availability, and cost-effectiveness of assets.
About You
* C' Class Driver's License
* Significant experience with Komatsu and Cat surface mining equipment.
* Excellent diagnostic skills, with experience using Cat-ET, SIS, Cummins Insite, and Komtrax highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Recognized Trade Qualification with at least 3 years of leadership experience in a mining environment.
* Experience with AMT, SAP, INX, Word, Excel, and ICAM investigations.
* Knowledge of mine safety regulations and classified plant obligations.
* Experience in proactive planned maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance.
