The Opportunity
Civmec are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team working across various construction and maintenance projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform mechanical repairs and servicing of various civil and workshop plant and machinery
2. Conduct fault finding for breakdowns
3. Maintain stock of hydraulic, mechanic, electronic and pneumatic materials
4. Assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment
5. Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery
6. Conduct marking and lining out
7. Perform planning tasks as requested
About You
1. You will be based in Perth, Western Australia
2. Relevant Certificates / Trade certificates
3. Working at heights ticket (desirable)
4. Elevated Work Platform (desirable)
5. 3 years + construction experience in the mining and resources sector
6. Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
7. Complete a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
