Role Overview
As a skilled communications technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of various cabling & communication cabling systems in a commercial environment.
* Installation, testing and commissioning of cabling systems.
* Work within a team to deliver communications projects in accordance with company standards and to meet project time frames.
* Ensure customer concerns are proactively addressed.
* Establish and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues and managers.
* Effectively manage administrative requirements.
* Attend toolbox meetings and training as required.
* Ability to determine job priorities and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
* Help shape the next generation by supporting and supervising apprentices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Cabler Licence with Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling endorsements.
* High risk WP highly regarded.
* Drivers Licence.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven problem solving/fault finding experience.
* ADF Clearance NV1 (highly desirable).
