Position Overview: The Customer Service Officer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and the delivery of exceptional service. This role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who can effectively liaise with both internal teams and external clients to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter sales orders into the system in a timely manner. Communicate with customers to obtain missing information, clarify orders, respond to inquiries. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales representatives, operations, and production teams, to manage orders and provide necessary data and Manage general customer enquiries via email, ensuring timely and professional Prepare and issue invoices for all manufactured orders ready for delivery. Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices, raising credit notes when required. Coordinate with transport, distribution, and 3PL warehouse partners Skills and Qualifications Experience in order management, sales support, or customer service roles. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Desirable Attributes Knowledge of packaging or manufacturing industries is advantageous. Ability to adapt to changing customer and operational requirements.
