Our Splunk Family in APAC is a collaborative bunch spanning functions across sales, engineering, customer success, support, marketing and G&A; functions. We love to work as a team & celebrate success.
Our People Consultants are part of a global 'Splunk People Operations Team' (SPOT) & are a centralized pool of HR practitioners who work closely with HR Business Partners to provide regional client support. They provide 'Tier 2' level support by working directly with employees, front line managers & HRBP's to resolve more complex matters that require additional attention & time.
**Areas of Responsibility**:
- Client Support
- Go-to person regarding more complex HR policies and procedures, building manager capability through coaching and guidance, addressing issues and/or concerns.
- Provide personalized guidance, support, and solutions on a breadth of People-related activities requiring expertise and depth. Triage inquiries and solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue.
- Engages and collaborates with People Business Partners on business client needs.
- Partner with People Services, Total Rewards, and other COE partners to ensure operational effectiveness with respect to compensation, titling, and other business processes.
- Project manage initiatives to drive outstanding individual and team performance.
- Analyze people data and trends to provide relevant insight to business leaders, in partnership with HR colleagues from Inclusion and Diversity, Talent Acquisition, People Systems and Analytics, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Legal, Learning and Development and our global HR teams.
- Coach and advise on a variety of components impacting employee experience, employee relations concerns, performance management, rewards and recognition, HR policy and guidelines, leaves of absence, global mobility, compensation and benefits.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR policies for employees and managers.
- Surface trends/themes across People Consulting team, HRBPs and COEs to enable a better employee and manager experience. Partners with the People Solutions team to manage continuous improvement in People-related activities.
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 to 8 years of HR Business Partner and/or HR Generalist experience
- Experience in HR, people programs, or other large-scale people-related roles.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence.
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others.
- Client-service orientated, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers, employees, within the People team, and a diverse set of stakeholders to drive resolution of issues.
- Able to use analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and analyze data.
- Experience with HR Management Systems. (Workday, Siebel, Service Now, Taleo).
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Experienced in solving issues decisively and exercising good judgment.
