About Your New Role
You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a highly supportive and innovative leader. As the Salesforce subject matter expert for the group, you will collaborate with the Engineering team to discuss business requirements and design solutions. In addition to implementing Salesforce across the organization, you will also integrate it with other applications, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in discussions with business stakeholders, the IT team, and external vendors to establish business requirements.
2. Contribute your ideas and expertise during the solution design phase.
3. Develop Salesforce flows, Apex triggers, batch processes, and Lightning Web Components.
4. Design systems that include data integration flows.
5. As the Salesforce subject expert, provide guidance on configuration, customization, and system capabilities for Salesforce.
6. Utilize your software development expertise to guide the team in developing custom applications and integrations, focusing on best practice processes and high-quality, maintainable code.
About You
1. You possess proven experience in solutions architecture and design within Salesforce, including an understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
2. As a Salesforce specialist, your expertise includes configuring, customizing, and developing using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
3. You have software development experience in your background, including proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python, or similar).
4. You have experience designing integrations between systems utilizing technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, or Middleware Platforms.
5. You understand ERP systems and how they integrate with the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
6. Interpersonally, you are an analytical thinker and a strong communicator, able to lead technical teams to deliver outcomes. You bring clarity and confidence to your stakeholders and can adjust your communication style to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
