New Care Services are looking for a capable, and reliable Community Nurse, to work with a Tracheostomy client on a ventilator assisting them to meet their activities for daily living. Must be quick to learn and have a sense of humour. Preferable Knowledge of PEG tubes, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, and Stoma Care. However, education will be provided internally and we will assist with external education needs. Shift times are 07:*****:45, 15:*****:15 and 21:*****:15 seven days a week. While we have advertised this position as a casual position, full-time and part-time applications would also be welcomed.
Pay is as per the Nursing **** (Aged Care) award and all allowances are paid and above award rates for the right people.
You will be expected to work independently but with an excellent support network from our highly skilled Clinical Services Manager which includes the opportunity for paid shadow shifts.
Client is non-verbal which means he has high communication needs as he uses a communication board and eye contact.
