Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead business growth in the Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) sector. As part of our global network, you will be responsible for maximizing sales from assigned territories, identifying new business opportunities, and driving business development efforts to win new contracts and retain existing clients.
You will work closely with the Commercial Team to effectively close identified business opportunities and take primary responsibility for the success or loss of business opportunities. Your role will also involve maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored service solutions.
Additionally, you will participate in the creation of annual sales plans for the assigned territory, assist in developing and implementing sales strategies specific to the Repair & Overhaul (R&O) business, and monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to stay ahead and adapt as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secure business for MTU Maintenance by maximizing sales from assigned territories
* Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic corporate and fleet sales approaches
* Drive business development efforts to win new contracts and retain existing clients
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
* Ensure high customer satisfaction by embracing pre- and post-sale processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in a managerial role
* Strong knowledge of the industry and the Australian market, specifically with experience in Industrial Gas Turbines
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strategic thinker with the ability to develop sales strategies and drive growth in the IGT sector
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel
