Business Development & Account Executive (FED Gov.)
Role at Cliftons focusing on the Federal Government sector. You’ll manage your own portfolio of government clients and work closely with the Commercial Director - Strategic Market Development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll play a key role in helping us grow our presence in the Federal Government sector. That means you’ll spend your time uncovering opportunities, building relationships, and supporting the Commercial Director in winning new business.
- You’ll also manage your own small portfolio of government clients and be part of shaping how we engage this important market.
- Prospecting new leads across phone, email, and LinkedIn to open conversations.
- Qualifying inbound leads and converting them into opportunities.
- Preparing quotes and proposals that align with each client’s needs.
- Collaborating with the Commercial Director and Marketing on campaign and outreach strategies.
- Managing your own pipeline and tracking activity in our CRM (Dynamics 365).

- You’re a proactive communicator who enjoys connecting with people.
- You have 2+ years’ outbound sales, business development or lead generation experience (call centre or B2B).
- You love the idea of testing new ideas and thinking creatively about how to reach clients.
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using CRMs and sales tools (or willing to learn).

You might have come from a high-volume outbound sales environment (like call centres or telesales), or you’re someone who thrives naturally on building relationships and spotting opportunities. Either way, you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, learn rapid, and grow your career.
