Supporting Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to fill multiple positions available across our 24/7 supported residential homes, supporting individuals with disabilities living in the community of Katanning.
Working collaboratively, you will be actively supporting their individual complex needs by creating a safe environment and ensuring services are delivered in a culturally sensitive manner.
The roles require successful applicants to be available and willing to work within a 24/7 roster that includes regular shift work, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
* Assisting with daily living activities
* Documenting and progress note keeping
* Providing behavioral support and following behavior management plans
* Full personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming
* Medication assistance
* Safe wheelchair transfers and transportation
To be successful, you will need to possess:
* An unrestricted Australian driver's license
* A current Provide First Aid Certificate and CPR
* A Certificate III Individual Support or similar, and relevant mental health experience
* A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
* The ability to develop positive relationships with clients and support their individual personal plans
* Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities, behaviors of concern, or mental health, including providing support for complex high-intensity daily personal activities (HIDPA)
Successful candidates will be required to undergo probity checks, including a national criminal history record check, and hold NDIS worker screening clearance.
