About the role Position: Warehouse Officer Working arrangements: 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, on a 9-day fortnight The Warehouse Officer reports to the Inventory and Warehouse Manager and plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations supporting production and maintenance activities. The role is based at Bayswater Power Station in the Upper Hunter, NSW, with excellent remuneration and benefits. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end MRO inventory, overseeing over 21,000 items worth up to $110+ millionUtilise SAP for inventory tracking, stocktaking, and receiptingPick and stage parts for work orders, ensuring timely deliveryLoad/unload vehicles, pick and pack parts, operate machinery (MR trucks, cranes, forklifts)Collaborate with team, maintain safety and autonomy Key Accountabilities Issue, receive, store goods, and monitor stock levelsRespond to material and stock requests from staff and contractorsReview and improve work systems and methodsConduct annual stocktakes at various storesWork safely, using PPE and machinery correctly, maintaining a tidy workplace Qualifications, Skills, and Experience School Certificate or equivalentExperience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in energy, mining, or heavy industryMandatory C Class driver's license; MR truck license preferredKnowledge of OH&S legislation and Dangerous Goods ActCompetent in Microsoft Office and SAP MM systemOrganisational skills with minimal supervisionStrong safety commitment and service focusEnthusiastic, flexible, proactiveJoin our team at AGL Macquarie, where we value excellence in inventory management and procurement.
