About You
The successful applicant will have experience working with most, or all, of the following:
* Heavy industry installation and commissioning.
* Pump systems, including pressure flow and level control systems.
* PLC installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Variable speed drives and soft starter diagnostics and programming.
* Electric power and control systems.
* Commissioning, testing and certifying electrical work.
* Scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs.
* Mechanical and electrical pump system fault finding and diagnostics.
* Interpreting technical literature and troubleshooting complex systems.
Personal attributes:
* Established leadership skills and insight into personality and leadership styles.
* An effective communicator (written and verbal) with strong customer service skills.
* A methodical approach with attention to detail and an ability to develop, schedule and execute programs of work.
* Enthusiastic and inquisitive with the ability to identify the root cause of faults and equipment failure.
* Experience in estimating, methodology development and procurement activities.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and manage quality, environment and safety risks, implement controls and respond appropriately to incidents or near misses.
Experience as a nominated QTP representative is a requirement of the role.
