Operating as a part of our Junior School, in 2025 we have established a new in-house Outside School Hours Care Service. Reporting to the OSHC Coordinator, this position is offered on a permanent part time basis.
The Assistant OSHC Coordinator will support the delivery of high-quality care to children from Prep to Year 6, before and after school and during school vacation periods. Working closely with the OSHC Coordinator, this role supports the day-to-day operations of the service and contributes to the delivery of engaging, inclusive and educational programs that foster children's development, safety and wellbeing.
This position will suit an experienced OSHC Educator or emerging leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to a growing in-house service within a supportive school environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Experience in an Educator position in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service, or interest in working with School age children;
* Proven ability to foster warm and professional relationships with children, families and members of our School community;
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to support daily operations and routines;
* Knowledge of My Time Our Place Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011);
* If required, be willing to accept the role of Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations, if required; and
* Hold an approved Diploma or Certificate III in Outside School Hours Care, School Based Education Support, or Early Childhood Education and Care; or
* Be studying early childhood education and care qualification, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, fine arts, drama or music, nursing, paramedicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, diversional therapy or speech pathology, primary, secondary or special education, sport and recreation or human welfare studies and services.
