The Role
As the Senior Team Leader Unsealed Roads you will:
* Coordinate and lead the delivery of unsealed roads maintenance works, including grading, gravel resheeting, potholing, shoulder maintenance, and vegetation control
* Manage the annual maintenance program
* Supervise and support work crews and contractors in day-to-day operations
* Conduct road inspections and assessments to determine maintenance priorities and ensure optimal road conditions
* Monitor budges and ensure expenditure aligns with approved plans
* Provide technical advice and responses to unsealed road maintenance requests
* Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team
What You'll Bring
The successful applicant will have the following:
* A current construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Demonstrated experience in unsealed roads maintenance and construction management
* Strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost planning and reporting
* Proven leadership capability, including team supervision and WHS compliance
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Competency using Microsoft 365, email, and web-based programs relevant to works management
