Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT – just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are looking for a skilled PR professional to lead our media and public relations activity, boosting brand awareness and visitation across domestic and international markets. You'll manage media famils, film shoots and on‑resort content production. To succeed, you'll bring a relevant tertiary qualification, 3–5 years' PR, media or journalism experience and strong tourism knowledge.
This role is pivotal in driving on‑site PR delivery and ensuring our story is represented consistently. As our PR lead on the ground, you'll partner with our PR Director and Sydney head office to execute influencer programs, high‑profile visits and key media initiatives. It's a fast‑paced, hands‑on role perfect for someone who thrives on delivering polished, high‑impact outcomes.
This role requires a valid Full Australian Driver's License.Key Duties
• Lead end‑to‑end media, influencer and celebrity activity, including famils and film/TV shoots
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for journalists, influencers and production crews, supporting the PR Director
• Work with Marketing to capture content, uphold brand consistency and produce media materials and press releases
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media, tourism partners, regional bodies and resort leadership
• Monitor media coverage, report performance and manage budgets, while supporting events, VIP visits and crisis communications
