Skilled Nursing is looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join the Clinical Operations team in Melbourne. In this leadership role, you'll be at the heart of early-phase clinical trials, ensuring excellence in clinical practice, participant safety, and team development.
The Position
As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the oversight and daily operations of our clinical unit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure adherence to protocols, ICH-GCP, and SOPs.
- Lead training, mentorship, and performance development of nursing staff.
-Oversee clinical procedures, participant care, and emergency management.
-Coordinate clinical unit resourcing, bed planning, equipment maintenance, and supply logistics.
-Serve as a communication bridge across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless study execution.
-Foster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.
Describable
- At least 5 years post-graduate nursing experience.
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP and early-phase clinical trials.
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills.
-Training in emergency response and cardiac resuscitation.
Essential Criteria
We're seeking a strong leader with a passion for clinical research and patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- Registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience supervising clinical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures and documentation in line with study protocols.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across functions.
