Defence Housing Australia (DHA) provides housing and housing related services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families. This role sits within DHA’s Human Resources team and leads the People Relations function to deliver responsive employee relations services and contribute to a healthy, high performing workplace. 
Role and Responsibilities 
- Lead a small team of professionals to deliver employee relations services and initiatives. 
- Uplift, maintain and govern employee relations and workplace wellbeing frameworks. 
- Proactively manage risk in alignment with contemporary HR practices, in close partnership with stakeholders across DHA. 
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and collaborate to deliver practical, people‑focused solutions. 
Qualifications and Experience 
- Depth of experience and knowledge on HR matters, with a willingness to grow the team and capability, reputation and success. 
- Sound understanding of both traditional and contemporary HR practices; ability to drive innovation across the HR service offering.

Engagement type 
Non-ongoing engagements will be for a period of 12 months. 
Security and eligibility All successful applicants are required to be eligible to complete a Baseline Vetting security clearance for consideration by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
