Telecoms Design Expert
We are looking for a proactive Telecoms Design Expert to join our team in Tasmania. In this role, you will be liaising with customers and teams to deliver optimized telecom project solutions on multi-telecom technologies. Your responsibilities will include coordinating onsite and offshore design teams, preparing telecom design guidelines, reviewing designs, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key qualifications for the role include a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering and a minimum of 4 years' experience in planning and designing telecom networks. Strong knowledge of access networks, industry standards, and installation practices is essential, as well as strong problem-solving skills and verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of aerial, underground, and intra-building designs, experience in ensuring end-to-end designs meet technical specifications, and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate onsite and offshore design teams.
* Prepare telecom design guidelines.
* Review designs for efficiency and optimization.
* Ensure timely delivery of designs.
* Conduct site inspections and acceptance testing.
* Qualification Required:
o Diploma/Bachelors in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering.
o Minimum 4 years' experience in planning & design of telecom networks.
