We are seeking applications for the role of a casual Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to join our Patricia Hinchey Centre team.

The Patricia Hinchey Centre aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the aged and individuals with disability within our community. We adopt a wellness and reablement approach, proving a wide range of enjoyable community activities designed to increase the independence of out consumers. Activities include outings as well as a range of centre-based activities.

About The Role
Reporting to the Manager of Patricia Hinchey Centre, and working with the Patricia Hinchey Centre staff and volunteers, you will be responsible for assisting consumers to maintain connectedness, wellness, reablement and restorative care with their friends, family and community.
The successful applicant will assist with implementing, co-ordinating and evaluating leisure and lifestyle programs/outings for the Patricia Hinchey Centre.
About you
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team is essential
* Demonstrated ability to maintain partnerships with consumers, their carers, staff and volunteers
* Hold a current Victorian licence
* Hold a certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check).
