This role is a remote, full-time executive position with compensation of $200 USD/hour, equating to $400,000 USD/year based on a 40-hour week and 50 weeks per year.
Base pay range: $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr
Overview
We are seeking a visionary finance strategist with PE, IB, or Big 4 M&A; experience to drive real-world execution in SaaS and education ventures. Collaborate with founders and executives to transform strategies into concrete actions, leveraging AI to enhance modeling, scenario planning, and execution.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create and manage comprehensive 3-statement models with clear drivers, integrated ERP outputs, and AI-enhanced scenario analysis.
- Deliver complete investment packages—including models, sensitivity analysis, and board-ready memos—within 72 hours.
- Analyze and optimize metrics such as CAC, retention, pricing, and utilization to identify impactful assumptions.
- Transform fragile business plans into structured, measurable execution strategies with defined KPI benchmarks.
- Oversee and refine financial systems to facilitate real-time decision-making in SaaS and education portfolios.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Handling routine tasks like closing the books, filing audits, or focusing on compliance — this role is not for controllers or FP&A; managers.
- Managing large teams or serving as a career counselor — leadership here is about results, not headcount.
- Creating presentations that go unnoticed — every proposal must be grounded in robust models and tested assumptions with a clear action plan.
- Settling into a routine role — expect a dynamic, high-paced environment rich with ambiguity and driven by AI.
- Seeking approval to innovate — your mission is to challenge strategies and sharpen them swiftly.
