The Retail Visual Merchandiser has an important role in raising much needed funds to enable The Salvation Army to serve the needs of the local community, whilst providing an environment where customers and volunteers alike are treated with the dignity and respect reflected in the values and mission of The Salvation Army.
- Research local lifestyle, demographics and design trends.
- Liaise with Store Manager and/or Corps Officers and/or WHS and/or TSA Property Department regarding fixtures, sourcing design elements required.
- Design a creative and effective floor plan for the Store.
- Create appealing displays, that lead customers through the entire store.
- Revise and present upcoming design ideas to Store Manager each month.
- Monitor costs and work within provided budget.
- Consult with and staff and/or volunteers on arranging displays.
- Implement design plans with Store Manager approval.
- Ensure store is presentable and inviting at all times.
- Ensure stock is displayed in accordance with Family Store guidelines and in-store signage is clear and professional.
- Ensure stock is replenished and regularly rotated according to stock rotation/discount schedule.
- Support with implementing promotions by producing eye catching signage and/or flyers.
- Ensure customer's safety at all times.
- Work according to all TSA policies, procedures and site processes.
